Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Edge Review

Talking about Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Smartphone? I am here to write a little review on the device and everything you’ll ever need to know about it.

The Note 7 device from google displays on a 5.7 inch screen and can be further used along with an S pen which I guess would go around when impression is sought after. The S pen could be a must-have tool for artists and users who’d rather write with their own hands than type on the screen.

It is a water resistant device with an expandable memory, more is the fact that the Note 7 edge device runs on a large battery that is next to none.

The note 7 actually stores on a 64GB ROM, an Iris Scanner which I guess is much secured than finger print scanner. Note 7 Runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

A Few Good things you must know About the S Pen

The S Pen as built by Samsung and described above is much used for writing and making sketches on the device and without this, the Note 7 could be likened to be a refined S7 edge with a steeper curved sides.

The new S pen is good in so many ways which includes:

The application Of the S Pen plays an important role in ensuring the screen is left clean with less or no scratch

The S Pen allows you to make jottings while the screen is on lock mode

Even when you dunk the entire phone below 90cm of water, the S Pen still worked

And Now Here are the Bad Things about the S Pen

1. It will be faster if you typed with your fingers rather than depend on the s Pen

2. If you happen to visit a beach with the device, grains of beach sand can interfere with the S Pen Holder and the pen

It Might interest you to know that the Note 7 Edge device has the same camera as Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. The Camera Specification includes a 12 Mega pixel Rear Camera and a 5 MegaPixel Selfie or Front Camera.

Screen and Glass

The device has been perfectly designed to give a high contrast as it possesses a Corning’s Gorilla Glass 5. This implies that the screen can survive even when it is dropped from a height of 1.5 Meters. But I know no one would ever want to risk that following the cost of the device.

Processor, RAM
As mentioned above, the device has a 64GB storage space and this could be expanded to the newly developed 200GB. This will interest you much as the device has the same Random Access Memory as Most HP and Dell Laptop, 4GB. This I am sure puts the device on a level most devices cannot get as far as speed is concerned.

The device is powered by a 3500mAh battery and it is inbuilt which means It cannot be removed. The device also has an embedded fingerprint scanner on the Home Button which makes it wanna look like one of the apple iPhones.

From what I can see, it appears the lowest expected price of the device is about $849
eBay is set to sell for $848.98 while T-Mobile will set for $849.99
But AT&T Wireless promises to sell theirs for $879.99 and this I think is cool for a device like that.
